Partners - Private Sector
The main contractors for the publicly funded components of the development are Bovis Lend Lease, for the arena, convention centre, multi-storey car park and piazza and Birse Civils, for site infrastructure.
Private sector 'partners' with specific development responsibility are:
David McLean - preferred developer for the first residential phase of approximately 380 dwellings.
McAleer and Rushe/Jurys Doyle - preferred developer and operator for the hotel component of approximately 400 bedrooms.
Artisan - preferred developer for the 'affordable housing' component of 96 units.
All of the above contractors and developers were selected by competitive tender.
